Bowls Scotland
Bowls Scotland is the name of the new unified Scottish Bowling Association with direct representation to Sports Scotland , the governing body for all sport in Scotland. The merger unites the former Scottish Bowling Association (Gents) and Women's Scottish Bowling Association (Ladies).
Bowls Scotland received constitutional approval at the joint Annual General meeting held at the Corn Exchange, Edinburgh on 15th December 2010. The aim of the new organization is to promote and develop the sport of bowls throughout Scotland.One of the goals is to bring practices within bowling clubs up to date by eradicating discrimination on the grounds of gender. This implies enforcing equality across the whole organization. To reflect this vision, Bowls Scotland has elected 5 male and 5 female directors to the board, chaired by an appointed chief Executive approved by Sports Scotland.

Bowls Scotland have created a number of publications and resources to promote the unification. These will be available from here. Please note that the new website is currently under development.
Scottish Young Bowlers Association (SYBA)
The SYBA promotes the interests of young bowlers throughout Scotland. Competitions are open to all boys and girls, playing as bowlers throughout each round. The association is supported by the Scottish Bowling Coaching Council , regional districts and national executive. The club would like to here from all school children and their parents who may wish to join the Junior Section is 2011. The SYBA website is available here.
