Traveling to Willowbank

How to find the ClubThe club is situated half way up Dowanside Road which is off Byres Road , north of University Avenue. Visitors are advised that a traffic management system is pending (currently under consultation). Access to the club has now been implemented in a clockwise direction up Dowanside Road, right along Dowanhill Street and down Victoria Crescent Road. Exit is via Caledon Street or left to Byres Road. An alternative route is from the north via Gt. Western Road at Kirklee over Observatory Road.
Traveling to the ClubByres Road is the heart of the west end with a large number of Glasgow�s top tourist destinations within a 10 minute walk of the club. These include
- To the North - the Botanic Gardens and Kibble Palace
- To the South - Kelvingrove Park and Glasgow University
- To the East - The newly restored Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum
Passengers travelling west from the City Centre may alight at Highburgh Road at Byres Road. Services include First Glasgow 11,18,44 or circular 89 and 90. Passengers travelling via Gt. Western Road should alight at Hillhead Street or Botanic Gardens. Services include First Glasgow 20,59,66 and 118. Route and timetable information is available here.
UndergroundPassengers travelling by underground should alight at Hillhead. On Exiting the station, cross Byres Road at pedestrian traffic lights and walk south approximately 75 metres to Dowanside Road. Please refer to SPT Underground for detailed travel information.
TrainThe nearest station is Pa rtick (1.2Km) which is the primary interchange for all services on the Glasgow North network. The station has an interchange with the underground and passengers may wish to proceed to Hillead.
TaxiThe nearest official taxi rank is at Queen Margaret Drive at the Botanic Gardens (TOA,2009) but taxis can frequently be obtained from Byres Road near Hillhead underground or on Highburgh Road (200M).
