GLASGOW PENTANQUE CLUB

Members have the opportunity to play petanque and join the Glasgow Petanque Club.Pétanque is a sociable game for people of all ages and abilities and our members play at all levels for fun, fresh air and exercise. For those who like to compete more seriously there are competitions at other clubs as well as national events.

The Glasgow Petanque Club was formed in the Spring of 2018 and is a member of the Scottish Pétanque Association (SPA) which as the national governing body offers opportunities to represent Scotland at International events.

Visitors and guests are welcome to come along and try at the regular Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday afternoon sessions which start at 2pm in the summer and 1pm in the winter.  We would ask, however, that you contact the secretary on info.glasgow.pc@gmail.com to arrange your first visit.  We can then organise an introductory sessions 30 minutes before the club session starts where we go over the rules as well as the health and safety guidelines.

The club has plenty of boules you can use until you are ready to make up your mind and we can give advice on where to buy your own boules.
